My article in the latest issue of Better Business Magazine is worth a read for some tips on managing cash flow.At Insight Associates we have been spending a lot of time of late trying to get clients and businesses in general to really understand how critical good cash flow management is. This is probably a skill that has been lost in recent years when times have been good and credit was readily available.
We are currently managing tight and difficult cash positions with some clients brought about mainly by factors well outside their immediate control. However, a very firm understanding of the day to day cash position and constant re-forecasting has undoubtedly made a great difference to their long term fortunes.
