Over the past three blogs, we’ve been talking about the importance of having a Big, Hairy, Audacious Financial Goal (BHAfG) for your business in 2018…
…Something really inspiring, that will push your business forward by leaps and bounds instead of by small, steady steps.
We’ve also discussed how to make sure that your big financial goal actually gets implemented, instead of ending up on the world’s enormous pile of forgotten New Year’s Resolutions in early February.
One of those methods was making yourself accountable… Making sure that you have announced your BHAG to the world, so that other people know what you are aiming for. Not only can they support you, but making a public commitment to your goal is an incentive for you to stick to it.
So today I’d like to invite you to share your BHAG for 2018 with me.
I can’t keep you accountable – that’s up to your team and Board – and I won’t share it with anyone else, but I would love to hear what you’ve come up with….
….and I know that taking that small step of putting your BHAG in writing will make it seem all the more real to you. It will become something you are actually committing to and are going to make happen, rather than an idea at the back of your mind which was never fully formulated or was easy to let go.
So go on.
