We instituted rigorous financial controls, regular cashflow reports and management reports.
We worked with CEO Michael van de Weg, to help him understand the financial information he receives – and make sure it is useful to him.
And we looked at the relative profitability of different product lines, so the company could focus on the areas of the business which are most lucrative.
