Helping clients see their finances in a new light
Not everybody can say their jobs are rewarding, interesting and fun. But that’s how Simon and Vikki describe their work at Insight Associates. The pair provide strategic advice and practical support to various clients, including Lamp & Pencil, a theatre design, manufacturing and special effects company.
Simon and Vikki collaborate closely to help Lamp & Pencil achieve their goals. Like many companies, Lamp & Pencil relies on Insight Associates to simplify day-to-day financial tasks and transactions.
Making light work of finance
From preparing payment runs and reconciling balance sheets to filing VAT returns and managing cashflow, Finance Assistant Vikki helps to keep the Lamp & Pencil show on the road. She also adds all the company’s bank transactions to the iplicit accounting platform and produces detailed monthly financial management reports for Lamp & Pencil’s founders.
Shedding new light on growth opportunities
Insight Associates offers clients much more than just operational assistance. It also provides strategic guidance and that’s where our Client Services Director, Simon, takes centre stage.
With 20+ years’ experience of supporting ambitious companies, Simon helps to unlock the financial insights that enable businesses and their leaders to drive growth. “My goal is to provide meaningful and valuable financial information to business decision-makers,” explained Simon. “For Lamp & Pencil, I also recommend new products and partnerships to help the company achieve greater success.”
A show-stopping pair
Seamless teamwork is key for supporting clients and Simon and Vikki execute this perfectly. “We have a great working relationship where we consistently share knowledge,” said Vikki, who has been at Insight Associates since 2018. “I provide the facts and Simon turns this into insights for our clients. When I have a question, Simon has the answer. He’s the font of all knowledge!”
