For the last week or so, our team has been living vicariously through our Associate Director Shirley Hoy.
Shirley has just returned from a three-week trip to India, and we’ve all been mesmerised by her accounts of the beauty of Goa, the majesty of the Taj Mahal, the friendliness of the people, the delicious food…
…And the wild driving. Shirley, as you may recall, is an avid motorbike enthusiast and a good proportion of her photos featured astonishing numbers of people on single motorbikes 🙂
Now, Shirley being away for such a long stretch of time could have posed some significant challenges as she is responsible for some critical tasks like approving client payments.
But I hope that none of our clients noticed she was gone.
You see, all her duties were shared amongst other members of our team, so that our services all continued seamlessly.
Usually when you come back from a lengthy annual leave, there is a long list of ‘to do’s’ waiting for you. The list facing Shirley was short, because her work continued even while she was away.
This, to my mind, is one big advantage of outsourcing your financial management to Insight Associates.
When you work with us, we form very close working relationships with you. Still, you’re not hiring an individual. You’re buying into a team – a team with a huge range of skills and experience – and so when any individual needs time off, your financial management doesn’t stop or even stall. It continues as normal.
This isn’t the case when you work with an individual bookkeeper or accountant – or even a pair of them. When an employee or single contractor is on annual leave or has an emergency, your accounting grinds to a halt.
This can be very problematic. Money is the lifeblood of your business, and when invoices and payments, and other financial issues start piling up, it can cause significant issues down the road.
Many of these day-to-day tasks really can’t wait.
With us, they never do.
If you would like to find out more about our outsourced financial management service, please get in touch today for a no-obligation chat. We’ll discuss the way you currently manage your finances and your financial needs, and we’ll also tell you more about how we help companies turning over £1 million or more get world-class financial management even when they’re relatively small.
If it looks like there might be a good fit, we’ll arrange another conversation – and if not, we’ll still leave you with good advice on how to improve your financial management.
